Pricing & Estimates

How do you calculate moving costs? add
Our pricing is based on four core factors: the distance between your pickup and drop-off locations, the total volume and weight of your belongings, your preferred moving date (peak vs. off-peak), and any add-on services like professional packing, custom crating, or temporary storage. We provide fully itemized quotes so you can see exactly where every dollar goes.
Are there any hidden fees? add
Absolutely not. Our zero hidden fees policy means the quote you receive is the price you pay. We don't charge fuel surcharges, stair fees, or long-carry fees without disclosing them upfront during the estimate. If the scope of your move changes on moving day, we'll discuss any adjustments with you before proceeding.
Do you offer payment plans? add
Yes. For moves exceeding $2,500, we offer flexible payment plans with zero interest over 3 or 6 months. A 25% deposit is required at booking, with the remainder split into equal installments. We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfers, and certified checks.
Can I get an estimate without an in-home visit? add
Yes. We offer virtual estimates via video call where you walk us through your home using your smartphone. For most residential moves, this provides an accurate assessment. For large estates or commercial moves, we recommend an in-person evaluation for maximum accuracy.

Insurance & Protection

What type of insurance coverage do you provide? add
We provide two tiers of coverage. Basic Released Value Protection is included free with every move and covers items at $0.60 per pound. Our Full Value Protection plan covers the full replacement value or repair cost of any damaged item, with a deductible starting at $250.
How are high-value items handled? add
Items valued over $1,000 — including artwork, antiques, musical instruments, and electronics — receive dedicated handling. This includes custom-built wooden crates, climate-controlled transport compartments, and a separate high-value inventory with photographic documentation at pickup and delivery.
What is the claims process if something is damaged? add
File a claim within 9 months of delivery through our online portal or by contacting your move coordinator. We investigate within 30 days, and approved claims are settled within 60 days. Our damage rate is under 0.3%, but when it happens, we make it right.

Scheduling & Logistics

How far in advance should I book? add
We recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance for residential moves and 8-12 weeks for commercial relocations. During peak season (May through September), booking 6-8 weeks ahead ensures your preferred date. However, we maintain a rapid-response team for urgent moves — contact us for same-week availability.
Do you offer same-day emergency moves? add
Yes. Our rapid deployment team can mobilize within 4-6 hours for same-day emergency relocations within the metro area. Availability depends on crew and vehicle capacity. Emergency moves carry a 25% expedite fee. Call our dispatch line directly for fastest response.
Can I reschedule my move? add
Moves can be rescheduled free of charge with at least 72 hours' notice. Changes made within 72 hours of the scheduled date may incur a $150 rescheduling fee. Same-day cancellations are subject to a fee equal to 10% of the quoted price.
How does real-time tracking work? add
Every Apex vehicle is equipped with GPS tracking. Once your move is in transit, you'll receive a unique tracking link via SMS and email. You can see your vehicle's location, estimated arrival time, and any route updates in real time through our web portal.

Storage Services

What are your storage facility features? add
Our facilities feature 24/7 CCTV monitoring, biometric access control (fingerprint + keycard), individual unit alarms, climate control (temperature and humidity regulation), fire suppression systems, and on-site security personnel. Every facility is inspected quarterly.
How is storage priced? add
Storage is priced per unit per month based on size. Units range from 5x5 ($75/month) to 10x30 ($350/month). The first month is free when combined with a moving service. Month-to-month and long-term contracts are available with no early termination penalties.
Can I access my stored items? add
Yes. All storage clients have 24/7 access to their units using their biometric credentials. No appointments needed. For items stored in our managed warehouse program, we offer scheduled retrieval with 24 hours' notice.
